"atrocious track order, I can't even keep a non-disgusted look off my face trying to imagine hearing it like this. I just keep finding more wrong with it. pale blue eyes between black angel's death song and european son... and black angel's death song after european son? you close the album with b..."  [+]  Reply

"Despite the lack of diversity and hits, "HH1" is consistent as all get out and gives a very cool vibe included with a story of a way mbetween man and machine."  Reply

"Overlong and riddled with meta references and snarky nudge-nudge lines that could only come from a young songwriter, it's actually a pretty decent album, mainly cause the songcraft is overall catchy enough but not quite as conservatively cliqued as most of the endless onslaught of emo albums in t..."  [+]  Reply

"Very good retro album. Tracks 3, 5, and 9 are the strongest. It's worth a listen, but there's not enough variety of either beats, flow, or subject matter covered to put it into the realm of a classic. Still, a fun listen. 9/10!"  Reply

"Damien Jurado has always been a storyteller, but this album extends his typical one-off story-songs into a kind of concept album, albeit one with a loose structure and far-flung, often psychedelic, mystical themes. The musical style is familiar if you've heard Jurado's other albums: firmly within..."  [+]  Reply

"Very underrated. The best so-called "post-grunge" album, because it's really a metal album with a bit of blues and rock. Its lyrics are inspirational. Outstanding performance by vocalist Myles Kennedy is highlight of the ablum- maybe one of the best ever!"  Reply

"Del tha Funkee Homosapien was doing underground hip hop before underground hip hop even existed. While Del is from the west coast, don't confuse his sound with other west coast hip hop. There are two things that separate him. First, while it's true that Del's cousin Ice Cube and DJ Pooh produced ..."  [+]  Reply

"Here you can listen to the raw hard rock Extremoduro, though the track "So Payaso" is a little more complex, indicating the direction the band was going towards. If you delete a few tracks, the album is enjoyable enough to listen, though litte noteworthy (unlike their later albums)."  Reply
