Best grunge/alt-rock band to come out of the 90’s. Although I don’t like Gish as much as everybody else, I do love their music up to adore. Their music is still alright now but not nearly as good as they were. I’m not taking their newer music into account for this score, but if I did, it’d be no less than 85/100.
One of my all time favorite bands. They set themselves apart from all other grunge bands by incorporating a mix of metal and psychedelia. Gish, Siamese Dream, and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness rank among the greatest albums of all time.

First 4 albums were very good and Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie are must listens. They weren't able to sustain greatness though.

A lot of great songs, but a lot that I'll stray away from. Their two best albums are in my favorites all-time, so I'm glad Smashing Pumpkins exist. But I don't care for their work post-hiatus.
Excellent album, only discovered it recently but it blew me way. Special mentions to Luna and Space Boy which are now both in my sleeping playlist. Will be in my top 100 once I unlock that.
Did you know that when touring Devon (UK) Billy put on a local accent and performed that night as The Smashing Bumkins
