"For the Flying Burrito Brothers' second album Bernie Leadon ( Eagles ) replaced Etheridge and third former Byrds man, Michael Clarke, became a permanent drummer in the band. On this album the role of Gram Parsons seems to be less dominant than on the debut, and the album is often considered a rel..."  [+]  Reply

"All-Music generally gives reasonably positive reviews for most albums they cover however this album received a scathing write up claiming it was a pale imitation of TISM, They Might Be Giants and Prince among other things. Yeah I get it there are some juvenile sentiments sprinkled among the track..."  [+]  Reply

"I've worked out that this is my highest rated Dropkick Murphys album and I am trying to work out why. Let me say first that I like all of their albums but unlike the typical trope of bands (especially it seems punks bands) being at their most powerful and most somehow authentic in their first cou..."  [+]  Reply

"Raitt had been around a long time when this album made its appearance on many tops of the year charts. There was plenty of quality simmering on her earlier albums, and this one bottled what had been spread over her catalogue."  Reply

"This is one of my all-time favorite bands, but it seems as if they've strayed away from their post-rock power a bit. They've incorporated new sounds but it lacks their heavy progressions that is part of their signature. Overall, I'll still treasure this album as a favorite & will continue to list..."  [+]  Reply

"I suppose many people know that fantastic Australian band The Saints. Some people say they invented punk before America and England. But there there was the Aints. When the Saints broke up, one of the members, Ed Kuepper started his own band aptly named The Aints (I quote Allmusic: "Supposedly ta..."  [+]  Reply

"A very very good album. I hadn't listened to it, even though I'm a big fan of the Flips because of the nature of the project, but it really is a nice piece and step in their career. As a comment below puts its, it's a return to form. This sounds kinda like their late 90's, early 2000's era, which..."  [+]  Reply
