"The Boo Radleys at their best when they were a shoe-gaze band and before they went Brit-pop. At time of release the album managed to survive the shoe-gaze purge post-Loveless, however the years have not been kind with it (largely) slipping from collective memory and yet to be re-released by Sony."  Reply

"This was the album that really consolidated Los Lobos' name as a modern rock band that was on level with contemporary trends, wrote great songs and who played their instruments sang their songs to pure delight. The album is once again produced by T-Bone Burnett. This time the group decided, with ..."  [+]  Reply

"Favourite album from my favourite band - the vinyl album was a 14th birthday present! Although this is their first and best full length album they are so much more than the Safety Dance. Got this album in 1983 and still listen to it regularly today. Also managed to get hold of the rare first issu..."  [+]  Reply

"Track score 92.27 with a place in the top albums chart of 27th and a rating of 100. The track score for this one is not what I expected as it out scores, just, in my opinion, the superior complete album. Complete just has a better listening experience but the numbers don’t lie. Interesting."  Reply

"Wonderful and dark. I probably overuse the word dark when describing dark sounding music. I could just say it's wonderful because that's what it is. All of her music is wonderful in that dark sorta way though haha."  Reply
