"This is one of those oft-forgotten alt-rock 90s albums which blend catchy instrumentation and hooks for an album which should be vying for most people's 90s top 100. The album is often thrown away as a one-song wonder ("closing time"), but that's not the case. It's a solid album throughout."  Reply

"Judy Staring at the Sun is probably the only song I still own from here. They were a guitar band from the 90's who often get overlooked. Not an arty farty bunch, they do good music."  Reply

"One of my favourites of the era. The band had 4 great musicians, especially in Mark Laff and Derwood Andrews and combined with the solid writing skills of James/Idol made a formidable band. Highly underrated unfortunately, probably due to Idol's looks and the teeny bopper appeal. Kiss me Deadly i..."  [+]  Reply
