"I think interesting Punk was always designed and this is the most designed Punk I ever listened to. The ex Disco Project of an Ex 60s Beat singer turned out to become a strange and strong musical force. Cabaret Pop, NEU! drum patterns, acted out anger. Out of time and just in time."  Reply

"Well, I for one haven’t forgotten the Pixies and never will and am surprisingly digging this album which is easily their best suit of originals since ‘Trompe le Monde’ waaaaay back in 1991. Mind you, the bar had been set extremely low since that release with a trio of stinkers beginning with ‘Ind..."  [+]  Reply

"Definitely next level for the Bill Evans Trio. The piano playing is the perfect combination of fast and slow, loud and soft. The bass playing is among the best I've ever heard and the drumming keeps everyone together. A worthy addition to any Jazz collection. "Elsa" and "Nardis" are highlights of..."  [+]  Reply

"Creed is another band that doesn't quite deserve all the crap they get. No, they're not the most original band ever, but it's worth noting that this grunge-influenced sound was very out of style at the time. There wasn't much else like this on the radio in the late 90s, so we didn't mind hearing ..."  [+]  Reply

"The 4th Joan Armatrading album is a little more upbeat than the self titled "Joan Armatrading" album that preceded it. It doesn't quite hit the heights that album did but is a good album none the less. Side 1 is brilliant (1-5) especially Warm Love & Never Is Too Late. Side 2 is not as good but c..."  [+]  Reply

"Not a great record but not as bad as some in the music press have labelled it. The first 3 tracks stand out and tracks 4&5 are good, it then dips a bit (Tracks 6-8) but the last 2 tracks bring the album to a good finish."  Reply

"I'm a big fan of her old man's work and this album proves the apple doesn't fall far from the tree It's only her 3rd album but what an accomplished piece of art 'IRM' (A french derivation for MRI Brain Scanner) is with wonderful tracks from top to bottom There's the slow groove of "Master's Hand"..."  [+]  Reply
