"This was a landmark album for Rory. He finally tried something different and it worked. I wonder how much of it had to do with Roger Glover producing it along with Rory."  Reply

"“I was just an Indiana kid, getting no one in my bed,” sings Timothy Showalter on "JM," “but I had your sweet tunes to play.” That song recounts long afternoons spent rebelling against his parents, smoking in his car, hating all his friends, and playing JM’s sweet tunes at presumably high volume...."  [+]  Reply

"One of the best albums I've ever heard. A grower of sorts, but so incredible either way. Also, I can't think of any album that's bookended with as strong of tracks as this one. "Swimming Fields" and "Run Out" get me every time. Anyhow, this is a great album, and everyone should give it a whirl."  Reply

It's packed with heavy rock riffs that contend with some of their best songs, and Lynott gives it an incredibly atmosphere, especially in tracks like Fats, Angel of Death, and the title track. Aside from tha..."  [+]  Reply

"This is great, Alynda and co. have finally come through with a project that they suggested they could pull off with The Navigator in 2017. The band remain relatively bad at cover design – not a single good cover in their entire discography – but if you can work past that, you get just a really pl..."  [+]  Reply
