"This album is the loud & rowdy opposite of the intimate, somewhat folky "the animal years". The energy and warmth found in songs like "to the dogs or whoever", "right moves" and "next to the last romantic" are infectious. "to the dogs or whoever" is josh ritter on speed -- a rapid pace of indie p..."  [+]  Reply

"Kay Hanley had the perfect '90's girly teen television/movie soundtrack singing voice, (heard on "Melrose Place", "Josie & The Pussycats", and of course "10 Things I Hate About You"). This album is decent. My favorite track is "Disappear"."  Reply

"Great music! It is the power of the guitar and not that of the machine gun that defines the music in this album. Should be much-much-much higher in the overall chart than 36,242nd..."  Reply

"Prog rock, electronic, and post-hardcore all in one nice package. Starts better than it ends, songs get a little noodily in places. Organ on Metallic Olives is cool (also what are metallic olives I want some please)."  Reply

"This is my #18 best album of 2016. This is probably her best album since 2001's All for You" or 1997's stellar "The Velvet Rope". It sounds current and relevant, while still maintain her identity. It doesn't sound like she's trying too hard. She's just being Janet. This is another album that's a ..."  [+]  Reply
