"An offshoot of the band Fun., Bleachers only faintly resembles that band. When he's not helping pen Queen-sized stadium pop for Fun., and not co-writing hits like Taylor Swift's "out of the woods", he's still writing big, wide-eyed pop songs for himself. "A nice album, similar to this year's Case, Lang and veirs. Good songs, nice arrangements and wonderful performances from Dolly, Emmylou and Linda make this a thoroughly enjoyable record. Sweet music."  Reply

"Foot of the Mountain is in the running for my favourite A-ha album of the 2000s, the only one that rivals it at all being the brilliant 'Analogue'. This little gem of an album starts off with 'Bandstand' which is one of the weaker tracks, but still good nonetheless. Then we get the catchy ballad ..."  [+]  Reply
