"The Beginning of true classic Hawkwind, Lemmy doesn't make it better, but he (as does drummer Simon King), give the band a punkadelic atmosphere. Dave Brock is still the captain of this ship, and its his songs, as does Nic Turners stellar bashout Brainstorm that provide the main meat for this hal..."  [+]  Reply

"Songs are a little to rigid for my taste. Not in sound but in structure. If the songs were a little more organic, this would be a whirlwind of a record. Lots of distortion. Drums have an oomph about them and they're crispy has all hell. Can't really speak on the songwriting as of right now. Decen..."  [+]  Reply

"This may not rank among their best albums, but it's got some really solid tracks on it. It's great for summer, when you can roll down the windows and crank it. Les Pauls and harmonies!"  Reply

"Damn, the music is really good. This is not ordinary hip hop... it barely is. This is a great mix of funk, jazz and soul. The album per say is not perfect and some songs seem to drag on a little bit, but they win me over with positive lyrics, smooth delivery and a dope funk band playing actual in..."  [+]  Reply

"The true problem with this album is that while listening to it, i'm thinking about how much better rhythms and melodies would fit in better, but no making it a rehash of something else already released makes more money."  Reply

"Is it too early to claim this as my favorite Protomartyr album? Holy cow! Thinking of what to say but can't explain my thoughts very well. I mean it's definitely them but darker and at times heavier and his vocals hit harder than ever before. They almost seem to get better with every release whic..."  [+]  Reply
