While I prefer the more glossy, reverb-coated production on We Don't Need To Whisper, this record is a worthy successor of AVA's sparkling debut record. There isn't a "The Adventure" on this record, but I-Empire has some of the better songwriting moments of Tom DeLonge's career. Every subsequent AVA release has failed to live up to this quality, in my opinion.
