Mix and good and not so good stuff. Most tracks are pretty basic compositions but a decent amount have enough piled on top and good enough vocal accompaniment to come off. A few have some unfortunately simple chord progressions.
This has been a real grower for me. Didn’t think much of it at 1st or even 4th listen but the more I’ve played it the more I’m starting to love it. Excellent album

The equal if not better than 'Ivy Trip' , 'Out In The Storm' cements Waxahatchi as one of my favorite contemporary artists

I was pleasantly surprised by Waxahatchee's last album after not caring at all for Cerulean Salt. So, I didn't know what to expect. That in mind, this has to be her best record yet. Nary a subpar track on the record. Give it a listen, for sure.
