A very strong album, and return to form, it has to be their best since the Real New Fall LP. Bury and Weather Report are the pick of the bunch but there are plenty of other contenders. The phrase Your Future Our Clutter sums up the X-Factor brigade very nicely indeed
My first Fall album. Also my favorite.
When the Fall are magnificent, very few bands can touch them. It's a pity then, that Mark E Smith seems to be increasingly like a by-stander in his own band. 'Y.F.O.C/Slippy Floor', which ranks as the Fall at their brilliant best, is the exception to the amateurish dross. Not the worst Fall album by any means, but certainly not very good either.

The Fall will always have an album in every decade chart I produce. Obviously this doesn't include the 1960s or earlier. That would just be foolish.
