Eminem in his prime. This album is full of his lyrical genius.

The last really cohesive album Eminem released, altough I love some of his later tracks, I never went on to like his next albums. Great artist tho, and this album is a gem.

Although I'm not a fan of Eminem post 'Encore' this album is actually really good, the production is great and of course so is his flow. I may have a biased opinion though as I grew up with early Eminem.

Marshall's most cohesive project. Has some of his best rapping in terms of technicality. The way he ties together such diverse topics on this joint is unreal.

Un disc che trovo discreto ma decisamente meno bello del precedente...

Not up there with my favourite rap albums of all time. There is a lot to enjoy here, and there aren't any particularly bad songs, there are a few similar sounding songs however. Clocking in at 1 hour 18 it is a bit of a slog as well. Having said this, the beats are good, the stories are shocking and the features are well chosen. Everything you would hope for from an Eminem album.

The Eminem Show is Eminem's best album. It's more mature and tackles micro and macro themes throughout.

Government, Bush, and our right to free speech. His relationship with his mother. His place as a father. His affect on his listeners. He explores more vulnerable parts of himself in a serious way rather than deflecting it all with humor and goofy savage imagery as on the Marshall Mathers LP

Without Me was added at the very end to lighten the mood and give the album a surefire hit. Even the record companies knew this was a drastic change in tone.

Apart from the single Without Me, Square Dance (another excellent lighthearted track) is the only other silly tune.

This alone has made Eminem Show age much better than Marshall Mathers LP which used to be considered his best work.
