Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. This chart has recently gotten very good. I have to admit, though, when I saw Another Green World, I took a double-take. Same with The Low End Theory (definitely respect that choice, it's a great album, and shows you becoming much more open-minded).
I'm intrigued though, have you listened to the Smashing Pumpkins? They are sort of a love or hate band, but they have written some of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. To be honest, I don't know whether you'll like these or not, but here's a few other interesting heavy/powerful sounding bands that I love: ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of the Dead (Source Tags & Codes is just a great combination of noise and melody), Dinousaur Jr and And So I Watch You From Afar (Gangs is literally the heaviest- ignoring certain metal genres- album I've ever heard). And I know you've said in your London Calling comment that you don't like punk, (and neither do I, to be honest) but I find the Dead Kennedy's to be different. I guess it's just more likeable for me. And I would also have figured that you would like the Replacements, but they're not on your chart. Anyway, you can take these recs or leave them; you may have heard them, you may have not.
Anyway, really cool chart.

How have I not rated this yet? Anyways, while I may not like a lot of these albums, I can totally sense your passion of them just by reading the notes. Easily one of the most honest and truthful charts on the site. Great Job man.

Lots of great shredding in this chart. They are pretty old school but, I think you might enjoy Jeff Beck Live at Ronnie Scott's and Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival Chicago 2007.

I love all the effort and time you put into compiling this (with the description, etc), and how it expresses your passion for music. You should definitely eventually branch out into other genres and see if you enjoy stuff like r&b, hip-hop, soul, industrial, electronica, and different types of alternative. I'm in the process of exploring new things, myself! Happy listening,
