This is actually a boxset of their first three albums. With a cover to rival Black Sabbath's debut but that is where the comparison ends. The boxset houses Orchid, Morningrise and My Arms Your Hearse. Opeth do produce some stunning music but I have to be honest, I absolutely detest the growl, snarl, whatever you want to call it, I just don't get it, for me it ruins the listening experience. The low mark is because of the growl/snarl.
Best tracks on My Arms Your Hearse- Credence and Remember Tomorrow- No growl/snarl.
Best tracks on Orchid- Sihouette- No growl/snarl.
Best tracks on Morningrise- To Bid You Farewell- No growl/snarl.
