It's reassuring to know that in a world of constant change, sociopolitical upheaval and unrelenting technological progress, these guys are still there, making the same music with the same guys they had 40 years ago, as if it were all just yesterday and all those years were just a dream. They may or may not be wearing the same outfits — I didn't check — and hopefully they're driving newer cars, but that hardly matters. What matters is tradition, honor, and the courage to say "we're sticking with our tried-and-true formula, and we're not going to be blown along on the winds of trendiness and fashion just to satisfy someone else's definition of success, or give in to crass commercialism off of some blatant cash-grab." Admittedly, I'm just assuming this is what they're saying. (I've been wrong about things like this before, apparently.)
