Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 13% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.1/100, a mean average of 74.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.3.

if this album was made by another band it would be 100/100 so I give it 95/100. after listening to it several times it is obvious that it is the best album of 2022, 10 or 20 years from now it will be heard as one of the best albums. I already bought the tickets to see them in Lisbon on 22/09/22

I don’t know, I wanted a return to form but this feels forced I guess. It’s like they’re trying to say a lot but just without conviction. The formula works and the songs are at least semi-enjoyable but they all feel hollow. We lacks potent emotion.

Arcade Fire have demonstrated with the release of We that they have actually lost it, they do not even know how to make their own signature sound anymore. This album being vacuous just proves the departure of Will Butler was basically an abandoned recognition of the ship sinking; there's something deeply ironic about naming an album We and your brother leaving the band because it's shit. 2 terrible records and a decade since Reflektor, Arcade Fire are gone.

Return to form! Be patient with this, it gets better after each listen. This is up there with The Suburbs and Funeral in my opinion. Love it!

I enjoy the Lightning songs, but the rest feels pretty bland overall.

I actually went in with low expectations so I'm liking it more than I thought I would. I've always really liked Arcade Fire but never loved them as much as others so this album is a win for me cuz it's cool and if it wasn't then oh well I love plenty of other artists so life goes on haha.

Really underwhelming. 75 feels generous. Here's hoping they do better next time.

Though it's not as consistent as I would've loved it to be, it's still pretty good. Give it a chance you people.
