Good mix of rap with metal. Some angry stuff in there. The copy I have is the original that has the song 'Cop Killer' instead of the 'Freedom of Speech'. Very sad that the song was removed as it was the strongest track on the album. Only real gripe with the album as a whole is the amount of self promoting that goes on throughout. We get it. Your band is 'Body Count'

Definitely one of the most interesting and exciting rap metal albums of all time. Ice T an entertaining frontman and the band was really heavy.
If you're looking for metal with a hip-hop edge to it, this is a great album to check out. I only knew Body Count for the song 'Cop Killer', but I'm glad I gave this album a listen. All of the skits on this album are great and help keep the album feel fresh between songs. It's funny to think that 'Oprah' & 'Evil Dick' are on the same album as 'Out in the Parking Lot' & 'Cop Killer'.

I'm not a big rap fan, so this record was instrumental in introducing me to the brilliance of ICE T. A really nice mix of social commentary and sophomoric humor blended with some genuinely ass kicking metal.
