My favorite Nirvana album. Even though it's categorized as a compilation I don't consider it to be. All songs on this are fucking fantastic. No commercial shine. I don't even label this as grunge. Most of this is great rock n roll. [First added to this chart: 12/11/2020]

Screaming trees should of been bigger. Mark Lanegan is one of the finest singers with his melodic grunge rock vocals (even though I wouldn't call this grunge at all). This is a hidden gem from that era. Rock that you can drift away to. [First added to this chart: 10/27/2021]

This is real Heavy Fucking Metal. Packed with great tracks. 'Walk' easily taking it's place as one of the greatest ever metal songs. Definitely the best of all Pantera's albums. [First added to this chart: 12/11/2020]

This is the soundtrack of the apocalypse set to industrial metal. Absolutely fucking fantastic. Heavy as fuck. Most tracks just ooze supreme specially the title track & NWO. Last two tracks let it down a bit but overall, a must have album for anyone who likes music of a heavier nature. Side note; Ministry is the best concert I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot) [First added to this chart: 12/11/2020]

This was the first ever CD I bought. Had hundreds of records, but with the joyous new technology that was the CD, this was my christening bit of music for the new player. Took years to then build up that collection. What an interesting time that all was. This is not a bad album at all. Overall it's a pretty good rock (??) album. One I enjoy every time I put it on. I've always had mixed feelings about this album. Almost every track individually is a fantastically crafted song. However, I find when listening to the album as a whole, it's got such a constant somber tone throughout the whole thing I don't enjoy it as much as I should given the caliber of songs. Pick any 2 or 3 songs for a listen at a time...great. Whole album...not so much. No wonder Layne Staley died not long after this. If you were singing this every day while touring you'd never rise out of any despair. [First added to this chart: 12/11/2020]
