Might grow on me, but after two really solid albums, one of which was a borderline masterpiece (Band on the Run), it feels like Paul's kinda coasting here. Slick production without the songwriting to back it up - songwriting which everyone knows McCartney is capable of. She's My Baby and Silly Love Songs are pretty fun tracks though, and I also quite like Denny Laine's contribution Time to Hide. The opener's not too bad, but again, more for the arrangement and production than the writing. And Cook of the House - it's nice that you love Linda, Paul, but she's not much of a singer. Not off key or anything, but it's a pretty meh track. The last 3-4 tracks are all quite nice though - Paul's Must Do Something About It which is sung by drummer Joe English is a particular highlight, along with the closer Warm and Beautiful where Macca gives us a reminder of what a brilliant melody writer he is. This one just feels a bit slight compared to some of the band's other albums.

This is probably my second favourite Wings lp after Band on … Loads of hidden gems here : San Ferry Anne, Time to Hide, Wino Junko, Must do Something about it. A lot of these are among McCartney's best solo songs.
Tier List for my preferences of the tracks on this album:
Top: 1, 2, 4-6, 9
High: 3
Neutral: 7, 8, 10
Low: 11
Uneven. There are 4 songs that are not from Macca. Of those only Laine's Time to hide is somewhat good. The other are the weakest moments of the album.
Stand out tracks are Let 'em in, Beware my love and Silly love songs.

Nothing stands out. Almost drifting into soft-rock/AOR sound.
The second best from Wings in my opinion, an easy listening album two standout hits 'Beware my Love' being the best album track.
Another enjoyable McCartney album. Speed of sound was a more democratic Wings record with all members, including Linda, contributing to the songwriting. Actually, Linda's, cook of the house, is the worst thing on the LP. Still, there's plenty of good stuff, let 'em in, is a fantastic opener, and, silly love songs, is the kind of effortless McCartney songwriting that ends up being a no:1 hit in the U.S.. Elsewhere, there's the excellent, beware my love, the lovely, warm and beautiful, and, the note you never wrote. Wino junko, is fun, as is, time to hide. She's my baby, is a bit slight, but, must do something about it, is nice. All in all, a decent album.
When it's good it's good but when it's bad it stinks.
