Their best work were "Eliminator" and "Afterburner" and they continued in the same style on "Recycler" but without any genuine great new song. The single releases like "Concrete and Steel", "Doubleback" or "My Head's in Mississippi" were no. 1 chartbreakers in the USA but lack the europhoria of their previous hits.

Good hard rock/blues rock/electronic rock album. Best 10 songs average is 86,2/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Best songs are "My head's in Mississippi" and "Give it up" both 90/100. All other songs good 80-85/100.

By this point, ZZ Top is doing nothing new. They're well embedded in their poppy blues-rock sound, and there's nothing interesting.
