Europe in the 2000s are nothing like the band in the 1980s. Start from the Dark was quite a dark album but fortunately was an updated sound. This followed suit in the same vain as Start From The Dark. But the songs are tighter and generally better. It takes a while to get into this album - a slow burner. Many criticised the band for the vocal style and the lack of keyboards. And as a result their next effort sounding more like something from the 1980s.
