Nothing Arab Strap did could've prepared me for this malcolm middleton solo album. Cheeky-brilliant in parts. He's "four cigarettes" away from leaving the house, seemingly happy that "we're all going to die" (alone) and nonchalances a romantic mood in the brutally-honest "fuck it, i love you".
