They had to capitalize on the success of Cosmic Thing, and I don't blame them. And there's like half a good album here. Tracks 1-4 and 6 are pretty good, but the rest is mediocre at best. Still, a half-good album is better than a bad one I guess? (Edited)
OK this is far more mainstream pop than the more mad-cap early albums but its better than Cosmic Thing (never liked Love Shack) in my opinion. Loved Roam on CT and this has another cracking female vocal with Revolution Earth, the highlight on this album for me, but many good tracks with the weakest being Hot Pants Explosion (still a decent track). A very good pop album that's one of my three favourite B-52's albums.
Not as consistently good as Cosmic Thing but a pretty good record.

Good album. Best 10 songs average is 86,0/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Best songs are "Revolution earth" and "Is that you Mo-Dean?" both 90/100. All other songs good 80-85/100.

My favorite B-52's because Kate Pierson's vocals show through more than on any other album. "Revolution Earth" (track 4) isn't a typical B-52's song, but it is their most beautiful.
