I think that "Fawn" is one of my fav Tom Waits track..It almost has a sacred feeling. like a Chinese folk song....beautiful
I think Alice is the best song Waits ever wrote. (or San Diego Serenade)

Released on the same day as, blood money, Alice, is another of Tom Waits' musical collobarations, this time inspired by the books of Lewis Carroll. It's a more orchestral affair than Waits had previously released, with even nods back to his seventies recordings. The title track is just that, a smoky, jazzy, three o'clock in the morning number, it's lovely. Other standouts on the album are, reeperbahn, fish & bird, and my favourite, lost in the harbour, absolutely beautiful. Kommienezuspadt, is gloriously insane, and, I'm still here, and, barcarolle, are excellent too. There is a bit of filler, I suppose, but hey, Tom Waits filler is better than most people's highlights. Another very good LP from Waits.
