An album that is curiously middle-heavy. Not terrible.

Beautiful voice, black boys in mopeds is the best songs, it brought tears to my eyes. It's really simple in a terribly sincere way: “and the first word that they learned was please”. YOU MUST LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM !

Publicly imploding her image in spectacular ways before it was the trendy thing to do. If you can look past that, this is a pleasant album, but not much more.

I'm amazed this album is ranked outside the top 1000. "Black Boys on Mopeds", "Nothing Compares 2U", "Three Babies". This should be required listening.
