Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 71.6/100, a mean average of 69.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 71.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.8.

The drum sound on this record doesn’t really appeal to me, but the songs are very good, immediately refer to the 80’s, although the band is British, the sound may sound more like a American Band, there is a sensational 80's hit called "Your Love", the guitar player John Spinks is very good, in "I Don't Need Her", his rhythmic take with delay reminds me a little of "The Edge", the ballad "Everytime You Cry" is very striking, and the hard ballad "Talk to Me" is a beautiful example of a pop rock song, in "61 Seconds" there was an excellent idea to end this good take with a "tick tock" clock sound, in "Taking My Chances "there is an almost progressive atmosphere with a good guitar solo in the middle, but the highest point is the guitar solo of" All The Love ", in a "Harrison Style" with the use of chords in some moments, he develops an idea full of feeling with a beginning, middle and end, it is undoubtedly a of the most striking I've ever heard. Due to the regularity of the songs, this album deserves maximum score.

I like most of this album. The typical 80's rock pop is done very well. It's on my list to add to collection. Not that high though

There's not a stinker to be found on this thoroughly enjoyable collection of '80s guitar pop. The Outfield create a warm sound that just barely avoids sounding too thin and then fill it with catchy melodies.
