This album is simply on a different plane of existence. Nothing else can take the listener so far away. "Lets Go Away For Awhile" is a perfect example.

Along with Pet Sounds, Revolver changes the game as far as what contemporary music can be. Most albums on this list would likely not exist without Revolver. Song selections wildly vary, but everything comes together in an unforgettable experience.

TFF took the best of the Beatles, new wave and added a hint of jazz to make a masterpiece. "Badman's Song" featuring Oleta Adams is the unknown gem on this one.

INXS put it all together on this album. Every song could have been a single. In fact, the unreleased "Tiny Daggers" may be the best song on the record.

Wilco emerged from the alt-country genre on this one. The styles are all over the place but it all fits perfectly. "Shot In The Arm" is a powerful listen.

The Beatles go out on a high note once again creating a widely varied mix of influential songs. "The Big One" on the second side is simply amazing.

Rush hit another home run with Moving Pictures. Along with "Tom Sawyer" and "Red Barchetta", this one also features the amazing instrumental "YYZ".

It is criminal that this band is known as the "Roll To Me" guys. This album contains masterful songwriting. Give "Surface Of The Moon" a listen and it becomes clear how good this band was.

A drummer with one arm did not stop Def Leppard. Another album where every song could have been a single. Amazing production by Mutt Lange. "Don't Shoot Shotgun" and "Gods Of War" are great deep tracks.
