They have a very cinematic style and flowing tranquility about them. Makes you just pleasantly float away. The songs are like dream soundtracks, hence a fitting album title. Very good. Serenity now.

I think it's underrated and I actually like it more than Deserters Song. There's a certain charm to it, it's just freaking magical.

This album is ok but Deserters Songs is much better
Didn't really enjoy Side 1 too much with the exception of Tides of the moon. Side 2 however is lovely and flows along really nicely.

I listened to this for the first time a week ago, and I've since gotten terribly addicted to it. We'll see how long the hype holds up, but I'm really high on this record for now.
What a great album this is - Mercury Rev's finest I think. not a bad song on it and everything flows perfectly. Much better than the more well known Deserter's songs.
