90.14* This is the album that set SOAD apart from the others with them finding there unique style. They have a sound unlike anyone else. With this followed by 'Hypnotize' & 'Mezmerize' they rightly deserve there place among the Metal elite. 06/25 [First added to this chart: 10/09/2020]

86.625* An ultimate metal album. The meshing of classic, death, prog into the blending pot has resulted in the sublime. Master musicians all round. 07/25 [First added to this chart: 10/09/2020]

84.363* This was on my wants list but has exceeded all expectations. It's always a joy when you find a metal album of this caliber. Starts great and just gets better in the back half. Metal gold 10/25 [First added to this chart: 06/22/2022]

81.45* Major step up from debut. I've a newfound love and appreciation for this. Tails off in the back half but not far off the greatness of Absolution & Black Holes 04/25 [First added to this chart: 10/09/2020]

80.55 Good mostly guitar driven electronic pop/rock. Much better than I was expecting. Strong front half. Dips a bit back half but still overall a decent album. [First added to this chart: 10/09/2020]

79.90* Elbow never let me down. I like all albums I've heard from them and this is no exception. I love their sound and style. 'Powder Blue' being the track that initially turned me on to them. This has some some great tracks on it but I find it has the highest number of sub par tracks I've found on any of their albums. Bit too much filler to rate it up there with there best. 11/25 [First added to this chart: 10/09/2020]

79.45* Knowing nothing about them, I got this when I saw it due to them having a resurgence and appearing at a heap of rock and metal festivals all over Europe and the States. Definitely not metal. More pop/rock but with a bit of tempo behind them. I recognized a couple of songs on this. Kicks off with the best tracks then dips a bit in the back half. Their sound is mostly buoyant. A big plus with this is that their slower ballad like songs are actually really good. Overall, this is alright 05/25 [First added to this chart: 01/24/2025]

79.00 Steady catchy rhythms, a lot of them being bottom end and bass heavy. Differing vocals on some tracks gives it great variety. A cracker album. Got this after 'Demon Days'. Some great songs on this but not matching the caliber of it's predecessor 11/24 [First added to this chart: 06/13/2024]

78.38* The singles from this which I knew from back in the day didn't overly impress me at the time. My, how this turned out to be a dark horse gem. Most of the other tracks fuck over those that were chosen as the singles. Mild hints of grunge but based in rhythmic rock. It's really good. Love it. Exceeded all expectations

78.36* Had this for well over a decade. Thought it was alright but nothing to write home about as it all just blended together. Until recently. A lengthy car journey where this was the only CD in the car caused me to listen to it 3 times in a row. It then clicked. Even though the songs have a similar sound and structure they all have there own uniqueness. It's very catchy and enjoyable right throughout. There are no dud tracks. It's gone up in my standings. A very decent album indeed. 07/25 [First added to this chart: 10/09/2020]

Your chart has a much better diversity of styles than what I remember hearing on the radio in 2001 (nu-metal or pop.)
