with the departure of the three Taylors, and most of their teeny fan base DD decided to get experimental
this led to a diverse and very creative album
there is only one poor track that i would cut from this record = hallucinating elvis
the rest is cosistantly good
with some forgotten/unheard gems ....... "playing with uranium", "pop trash movie"' and "Lady Xanax" are brilliant
The should have been Bond song "The last Day on Earth " is amazing
"Starting to Remember" is very Billy Corgan esque and is well crafted and beautifully crafted
"The sun dosent shine forever" is epic and beautiful
BUT the cying shame is the fact that one of my favourite songs and one of the most beautiful songs ever written has gone unnoticed - " someone else not me" is a classic !!
if there was a picture in the dictionary next to the word underatted - there would be a cover shot of Duran Duran's Pop Trash album
