Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. It's a real shame this album is so overlooked on this website. On rateyourmusic it's got some attention but regardless this is a great black metal album that deserves a listen. The vocals are powerful and terrifying at times, it's atmospheric and dense, aggressive, everything works really well.
Although I have amazon music, it isn't on there, and I don't know about other streaming platforms. It seems hard to come by unfortunately, and finding a physical copy is gonna cost you a hefty penny. But yeah however you find this album, it's well worth it.
