Sounds a bit like they're still trying to pin down what sort of band they are precisely. It's folky, but with a more raw, rock sound (sometimes). To be lazy, I guess they sound like a less polished Fleet Foxes. But in a good way.

The way beautiful folk songs and droning psychedelic noises are melded together in this piece is masterful. This music truly takes you somewhere else as you listen to it, going from happiness to fear to sadness to relief, all in a couple of songs.
Best track is Impressions of the Past: many fast-changing short passages with different ideas and messages each, getting progressively more chaotic until the end, which is a relieving return to normality - representing how, to them, the past is just a collection of confusing memories, and the present is the only thing that's clear. These guys merge the lyrics realm into the musical realm - the notes themselves speak as much as the words being said.

A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
