Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 15% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.2/100, a mean average of 73.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.7.

Its a good album, but far from his best according to this web site. It is the only Stevie Wonder album that i have, and the reason why i bought the album was because i enjoyed the three singles from it.

This is a very consistent album. Well-constructed, there is no big hit on the album, but it is consistently good (except for "Happy Birthday", this one's kind of bad). The rest is very solid, groovy and enjoyable, but it's beginning to sound like the 80's, so it's also a little corny at times.

Not quite up there with those five classic albums from 72-76, still it's decent, and probably Wonder's last quality record. Good LP.

Stevie is still pumping out the r&b flavoured pop masterpieces, but he's starting to sound a little shallow. This is his last great album.

This is the last solid Stevie Wonder album, with highlights "lately", "all i do" and "master blaster", before he and many other artists caved to the poppy, capitalistic 80s (like david bowie, genesis, jefferson airplane, elton john, lionel richie, and yes, to name a few). Funky and concise.
