It's not the greatest thing ever, but it's not as bad as everyone likes to claim. Unremarkable, but the seeds are there for what would eventually become Kaputt.
Streethawk: A Seduction was so good and This Night is such a tremendous let down compared to what came before it. This is a long album for Destroyer standards and the listener feels every painful minute. The albums only bright side is the song Goddess of Drought. Check out that song and the decent "Modern Painters" and then leave the rest for the birds.

It's pretty much a sequel to the opus that is Streethawk but just like Poison Season, that doesn't mean it has to live in its shadow.
