Not too heavy, not too light. Good memories of discovering Pantera with this anlbum and keeping me semi- interested in metal as the wave of Grunge came crashing in.

Musically superior to Vulgar Display of Power, more variety and some genuinly great songs like the title track, Cemetery Gates, Domination and Primal Concrete Sledge.
Great album. When I was younger I used to detest Phil's high vocals, now I like them! Cemetery Gates and Domination may be the best songs Pantera has ever done.
My favorite Pantera record, the production is amazing and all 4 members sound great. Some of Dime's best riffs and solos, and Anselmo's vocals are off the charts. It is definitely their thrashiest record, which is probably one of the reasons it is the Pantera album I go back to most frequently.
