Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 69.8/100, a mean average of 67.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 69.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 20.5.

Great album. Its really a shame that all the 5 best tracks are cluttered in the first 5 tracks.

Underrated album. Not the greatest band in the world, but I just don't understand why these guys get a lot of hate. They definitely improved from the horrible "Suicide Season" and Oli Skykes sounds less of a wuss. So why the hate? If it's lyrics, there is so much crap out there with the dumbest lyrics of All Time and critics laud them (*ahem* Lil' Wayne *ahem*).

Shadow Moses makes the album twice as good. It's nice to see Bring Me The Horizon try something a little more electronic, experimental, symphonic, in songs, you can see that they're really going out of their comfort zone. But, yet again, Oli Sykes sounds like his lungs are bursting before his eyes and he's trying to inhale but there's a rat in his throat. He can't really scream, and he can't really sing. Makes the album quite bad. I don't really like screamo music. Apart from that, this album was lyrically impressive with glimpses of real experimentation, and unlike most BMTH stuff, it isn't monotonous.
