Very under rated album. This concept album is best listen to in order, but the songs are good as stand alones. It has a more polished musical style then his earlier albums as well as a more updated 2000s sound. This concept album about a man stalking and kidnapping women to wrap them in silk and dismember one leg to create a spider is brilliantly creepy.
It was released with a 3 song music video that can be found on YouTube as well as 2 bonus tracks that are also great.

Despite the intriguing concept and strong lyrical execution, Along Came a Spider is bogged down by occasionally dull musicality and the general lack of a dynamic approach. Not bad, but Alice has many, many other concept albums that deserve a recommendation over this one.
Along Came a Spider is one of Alice's most mind blowing works! A rock opera with a taste for vengeance, if you like Alice Cooper even in the slightest, get this album. All but two songs were very good. I honestly didn't expect much when I decided to listen to this album. Alice Cooper's music itself may not sound creepy unless you lisyen to the lyrics of the ALBUM, not just individual songs. Try this out!
