At the moment its a ninety plus for me. A lot of good music on this album, and for anyone who likes early r.e.m. this album should be ideal.

This double album is rather excellent and an absolute must for all R.E.M fans
Not only do you get the best tracks off their first 5 albums fully remastered you also get some nice live tracks as well as the band commentary on many of the tracks included as linar notes on the CD.
Personelly I'm a huge "IRS Circa R.E.M Fan " and IMHO believe this is THE essential R.E.M compilation to purchase .
Oh and don't bother with the single CD release , the double CD Special Edition is the only way to go
Rating: 90/100 ( not 100/100 due to inclusion of 'Two Steps Beyond’ which is a really odd choice considering what didn’t make the cut)
