Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. If you are going to own a Sky album, make it this one. I am fortunate to own this on white vinyl. I remember Tocatta being played on Top of the Pops back in my School days and appreciated what Sky did with it musically. Having painfully learnt the piece on piano many years ago, it is tricky to play. For something different I do enjoy the album once in a while. It allows a journey through some classics without being too 'high brow'. The opener is as good a Prog track as you might find from any Prog band from the top five prog artists of the seventies. 'Sky' is a pretty naff name for a band, if they had chosen a name with a little more mistique perhaps they may have soared to greater heights.
