The absolute inflection point of Spoon in between transitioning to their post-punk Pixies form to their "too-cool-for-school" Motown-production-inspired Girls Can Tell phase. It's really cool and weird to hear it. The songs aren't exactly what I would call essential, but as a historical product it's an essential listen for fans of the band. (Edited)
