Great album; handle it carefully, it might try to bite your arm off. "Wishin' For You" is peak Ely...
Musta Notta Gotta Lotta (1981, MCA) is the fourth album by Joe Ely.
After three really good roadhouse rock album that sounds like country and folk music, Ely turned naturally to a straight rockabilly sound.
This record is on fire. Very reminiscent to Jerry Lee Lewis, but with Western flavor and solid material.
Ely recruits his fellow Flatlanders again: Jimmie Dale Gilmore's Dallas and Wishin' For You and Road Hawg by Butch Hancock. There's also the excellent Buddy Holly/Crickets cover Rock Me My Baby.

Good retro rocker with country leanings. Nothing remarkable but if you have 33 minutes to spare this is as good a way as any to spare them.
