A much-underappreciated album by eleven-piece Portland outfit Typhoon. Heavily influenced by frontman Kyle Morton's childhood experiences with Lyme disease (which almost killed him), this album shimmers with poignancy and lingers in death's cold shadow. The horns, strings, and electronics bring these songs to spectacular heights.
This is a cool find. A little sad, but at the same time endlessly hopeful.

A bit of a consistency issue and the production is a too samey throughout.
