It's kind of hard to look at this as an actual album, it feels more like a collection of leftovers. It has several re-recorded versions of songs from their last album, and a number of songs have Brad Delp's vocals, when he had died 6 years before this album was released. It also features five different lead singers, which makes it feel even more inconsistent.
If you take it for what it is though, it's not too bad. The songwriting is definitely weaker than normal, and the mixing isn't that great either, but with the guitar tone and the vocal harmonies it does still have a lot of the hallmarks of a Boston album. I doubt it's ever going to be anybody's favourite Boston album, but it's pleasant enough to listen to in the background.
