There might be an debate over whether Crywank is the best or worst band name in existence, but they earn their namesake. You've got to know that going in. Depressed and self-depreciating. Depressed about how pathetic that very sadness is given his privileged. But depression can affect anyone, and this album delves into to it to a truly masturbatory extent with "I am Shit" taking self-loathing to a whole nother level. The first few tracks are my favorites, especially song for a guilty sadist. "Do you have PPE for self-esteem" is another highlight for me. I'll hear about how bad at guitar he is, but I don't find this to be an issue. He's certainly good enough and I find the playing more interesting than a lot of acoustic stuff out there. If there's one CryWank album to listen to when you're in the mood this would probably be it.
