Saw them as the opening act on Lollapalooza '92 and picked up this album the very next day. Sounds very much like an actual album and not just a collection of singles/EP tracks. "De-Luxe", "Leaves Me Cold", and "Downer", all in a row, are a powerful trio.

even though this is a compilation of EPs made with different producers, along with some extra tracks, i think the collection holds together pretty well as an album. it gives an interesting view of the line Lush walked between the shoegazey side we would see on Spooky, and the more rock/britpop side that came out toward the end of their career.

Contains some of their best songs: De-Luxe, Sweetness and Light, Thoughtforms and Scarlet. Also excellent cover of ABBA's Hey, Hey Helen.
