A good overview of Kate Bush's singles output, but this collection is in no way representative of her work. This is a 'Greatest Hits', definitely not a 'Best Of'.
An excellent compilation. Compilations are never going to please everyone but this set list sure packs some punch! There are no tracks I don't like so I am quite happy. Worth mentioning also that Kate Bush is an excellent musician as well as vocalist. I am led to believe that she was discovered by Dave Gilmour.
Great collection of Kate’s style. Perfect way to decide if you want to go deeper in to her music.
This particular record, a slightly premature greatest hits album (from '78 to '86), is nothing short of wonderful. I fell in love with each beautiful, eccentric track and it clearly mapped out the artistry of a young female artist who is sincerely out of this world.
An excellent compilation although I must knock off some points for the reworked version of "Wuthering Heights" (one of my favourite songs of all time) which is inferior to the original by a mile.
Although I love everything that was on The Kick Inside, I think the Wuthering Heights on this greatest hits albums is more pleasing than the original. (Possibly the only time I have like a rerecorded track better, outside of Skip James.)

This album is part of my personal top 100 (which you can check out here) and normally I tried to include regular albums but sorry, here I had to choose a Greatest Hits album because none of the regular albums really stand out (maybe apart from 'The Kick Inside") and in reality Kate Bush's career was formed by an incredible amount of outstanding hit singles, the flow of which forms some kind of a logical album.
Of course it all started with the first single "Wuthering Heights" of which the musical weirdness had an instant appeal amongst all the other plain songs in the hit parades at the time.

12 songs is all we get? So many amazing singles missing it's like they flipped a coin to decide which songs should be here and which should be left out. She deserves better than this. Weak!!!
I like Wuthering Heights, The Man With the Child in His Eyes, Babooshka, Wow, Army Dreamers. This compilation has new vocals of Wuthering Heights which was re-recorded in 1986 and I like this newer version more than the oiginal one.
