Some songs that make me think we've found the space cowboy funk has been talking about for decades, are funny, and I hope he made them with a comedic element in mind, 'cause I cannot take them too seriously.
All in all, it's great he tried, the themes are interesting as always, but he needs his band.
The only song that I'm not too fond of is "River Of Brakelights, which is still good
The 11th Dimension is where the good times come from!
This along with Albert Hammond Jr.'s albums gives me hope that even if the Strokes eventually splinter apart there will still be good music to be had from them. This is a very good album that is up there in quality with the strokes' work.

Better than the last two Strokes albums, not as good as the first two Strokes albums. 11th Dimension is a bonefide hit song though, and one of the best songs from that year. Give this a listen if you are even halfway into The Strokes or if you enjoyed Julian's masterful track on Sparklehorse & Danger Mouse's Dark Night of the Soul.
