Quite a difficult listen. Not one of my favourite Tangerine Dream albums. Gets played very occasionally.
TD magic up some great sounds to accompany Friedkin's flawed but watchable suspense movie, however - the music didn't quite match the visuals. Frustratingly, it would of fitted Friedkin's previous movie (the Exorcist) perfectly & far better than Mike Oldfield's folky vibes (Friedkin said that had he heard TD prior to making Exorcist he would of used them).
